The Challenge

Pod Point is a UK leader in electric vehicle charging. They deliver innovative solutions for the home, workplace and retail. We were invited to design, build, and develop their investor microsite in order to support the launch of their IPO in the summer of 2021. The site had to be flexible and scalable to meet the many pre and post-launch requirements.

The Process

Working closely with the client, we decided to split the website into two, Pre-IPO and Post-IPO. This allowed us to focus on the user experience for both scenarios, whilst planning for the future of the website. Our market research of businesses with similar investor websites helped us to benchmark the expected pages and content structure for the typical investor user.

The Outcome
Simple by design

We developed a customisable toolkit of modules to live alongside Pod Point's existing UI library, whilst answering the brief’s request for a scalable and flexible microsite. We kept the experience fast and simple, to suit the investor profile. We adopted a simple navigation, signposting, tabbed content and quick links at the bottom of each page to boost circulation across the experience.

Backing a greener future

We wanted to translate Pod Point’s mission into something visual by leveraging core brand messaging, statistics and readily available links to information that’s a click away. By using iconography, illustration and photography we could harness the essence of the brand whilst providing a compelling visual accompaniment to Pod Point’s investment case.
