The Challenge

We worked with Arden University to repurpose their website to become both digitally and globally accessible. We developed a data driven user experience that acknowledges Arden’s mature student market and continually evolves to cater to ever-changing student lifestyles, learning methods and career ambitions.

The Process

We worked with CRO specialists to identify key areas within the new template structure that would improve through better UI and UX design for the student user. The brand was undergoing some major changes during our involvement in the project, which made our starting position on a new look and feel quite challenging.

We were also limited to upgrading existing page templates within the existing IA. Nevertheless, through wireframe prototypes and iterative designs, we carefully worked with the brand materials that existed to create an experience that felt mature, well-crafted and reflective for a mature student.

It was essential for the new design to support Arden’s ambition to embody a sense of “digital learning”. We achieved this by re-focusing content into fluid, digestible segments. We built upon clear signposting and ever-present "User Stories" touch points to help showcase actual learning experiences and provide tailored support or relatable information.
